November 1, 1999

Yatta! I got the Japanese Saint Seiya tapes I recently ordered :))) I put up scans of the covers (Shavana scanned them, lots of thanks to her as usual!) in the Saint Seiya Images section. The Japanese episodes are really great and the voice actors are *magnitudes* better than those of the dubs!

As I hate having to browse through lots of different pages when I write fanfics, I added some more info (heights and sizes) to the Saint Seiya Character Overview which I always need for my stories...

Then I added two further aquarelle versions of my Tarot Cards to the FanArt section, and as Skögul sent me an absolutely kawaii drawing of Camus+Milo on the last snailmail, I decided it had to be scanned and added to the Fun Drawings by Skögul.

Today I may proudly present you the English version of Scorpio Milo's current fan fiction La cité sous les flots, The City Under the Sea. It features Camus and Milo, and I already fell in love with the wonderful writing style! You absolutely have to read it!!

And another thing I'm pretty proud of: the pic of Cancer DeathMask from the Jump Gold Selection #2. I spent about 5 hours to edit out the writing and redo the background, so please don't take it away without giving me credit for it!

September 7, 1999

Skögul sent me the second and final page of the cute Ugly Duckling, Saint Seiya Style Mini-Doujinshi. Cute! :)))

Then I finally I started with my project to write some nice synopses of the Saint Seiya episodes (eight of them by now) - the only drawback for many of the visitors of my site will probably be that I decided to write them in German... But I thought the German anime fans are in direr need of them as there aren't so many people in Germany who dare to face the original Japanese episodes - or the French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese dubs...

And while I was at it, I added a whole page which will feature the German language articles I wrote about Saint Seiya and other Kurumada stuff for the German club magazine Funime of the Anime no Tomodachi

September 6, 1999

I added the four new aquarelle versions of my Tarot Cards to the FanArt section.

As I bought the Jump Gold Selecton #2 in Paris and Shavana spent the whole weekend (!) to scan all the stuff of it that I wanted (Again tons and tons of thanks to her for te work!), you can look forward to a lot of new scans in the next time (I have to edit the stuff first as the JGS has the pictures in not too easy to use versions and I have to edit out texts, paste together images etc). But I already put up high quality scans of the Gold Cloths plus a truly beautiful pic of the twelve Goldies together (actually it is a fold-out poster) which took me about three hours to paste together and edit out the creases etc. Ah yes, and I uploaded scans of the covers of three Bandai Special Videos that feature the best fights of the Saint Seiya series. You can find all of this in the Saint Seiya Images section.

May 7, 1999

Well, as I was ill yesterday, I had a little time to experiment a bit, and so I created two WinAmp Skins which you can download if you like :) Unfortunately it's a pretty time consuming process, so I probably won't create many of them...

May 3, 1999

I added the seventh Tarot Card, Trump XVIII "The Moon" to the FanArt section and some explanations of the cards and their symbols which can be reached via the Saint Seiya Tarot Overview. (Unfortunately it seems that there are only very few people among the Saint Seiya fans who know the meanings of the Tarot, so I had to add this so that you can understand what the Tarot is actually about. Otherwise the planned story Rota Taro wouldn't make much sense to you, I fear.)

Then there are about 5 MB of further manga scans in the Saint Seiya Images section, among them scans of all of the Gold Cloths and a gorgeous cel of Cancer DeathMask in the Anime Cel and Shitajiki Gallery.

April 27, 1999

April 16, 1999

I uploaded scans of five new shitajiki to my Anime Cel and Shitajiki Gallery and two more Mu & Kiki pics by Skögul to the FanArt section.

April 13, 1999

Some new stuff in the FanArt section: Another cute SD pic by Skögul, four pics of certain 'Goldies in the Morning' by me, and two more pencilled Tarot Cards (this time Aries Mu as The Magician and my beautiful Aquarius Camus as The Emperor).

April 12, 1999

Today I could add a hilarious SD of Aphrodite and Misty by Skögul to the FanArt section. I'm eagerly waiting for more of her fun pics :)))

April 9, 1999

I'm proud to be allowed to feature some gorgeous SD drawings by Mehdi B. in the FanArt section. I really hope I'll get more of his fantastic artwork :)))

April 7, 1999

I rearranged my FanArt section and uploaded the second Tarot card. :)))

April 6, 1999

I got some more cool answers for the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions by Andy S. :)

And I uploaded the first Tarot card "The Fool" für the story Rota Taro to the Saint Seiya FanFics page. Sooner or later I'll hopefully manage to draw a complete Saints' Tarot (lots of thanks to Scorpio Milo for his input!).

April 5, 1999

I got a great new shitajiki which I put up at the Anime Cel and Shitajiki Gallery and a handful of new pics for the Saint Seiya Images page.

April 2, 1999

Okay, today I mainly did some maintenance work - the shrines at the Saint Seiya FanFics page were updated and moved to a new directory, I finally added Andromeda Shun's Island.

Soon I'll add some cute fun drawings by Skögul who learned of my obsession with the magnificent Camus-sama and had nothing better on her mind than to produce a series of caricatures featuring "100 ways how to make good use of Aquarius Gold Saint Camus (not including the things Stayka thinks of now)" :)))))

March 30, 1999

Well, as I got that gorgeous cel of my Camus-sama, and scanned it, I'll upload it today, both to the Saint Seiya Images and the Anime Cel and Shitajiki Gallery - This cel is sooooo great! When I held it in my hands I admired it for *quite* a while... *Sigh* - Now I finally know the exact shade of indigo his hair has... And those marvellous deep blue eyes! And the cute nose... Beautiful!!!! (But I won't tell how much money I have paid for it - I have to admit it was an absolutely unreasonable amount, but I couldn't help myself when I saw *that* cel... After all, it shows my Camus-sama :) - Hey, Shinji, stop grinning!!!)

March 29, 1999

Another couple of answers to the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions were given to me by Myra Weren :) [Although I might warn you, Myra - I consider Camus-sama to be *my* personal property :))) Ha!]

Ah yes, and I added about 1 MB more scans to the Saint Seiya Images.

March 26, 1999

I'm delighted! After Scorpio Milo had his say in the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions list, two more Gold Saints offered their opinions: Pisces Aphrodite and my Nr.1 cutie Aquarius Camus! (Grin, I hope the others will send their comments, too :)))

March 24, 1999

I got some really cool answers for the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions by Scorpio Milo! Read what a Gold Saint has to say about the stuff!!!

March 23, 1999

The Saint Seiya Music files now have a Mirror Site at Xoom!

And as I thought that Ron and Hokuto of B'tX are majorly cute, too, I uploaded 141 more screen shots to the B'tX Screen Shot Archive (this time mainly Ron, Karen and not enough shots of Phoe and Hokuto...).

March 22, 1999

Well, today it's not exactly Saint Seiya, but I thought you might be interested that I uploaded 275 screen shots to the B'tX Screen Shot Archive (mainly Phoe/Fao/Fhou and Teppei, but also some others).

March 19, 1999

I added 175 fresh shots to the screen shot archive (mainly Cepheus Albior, Andromeda Shun, Chamaeleon June, Ophiuchus Shaina and Aquila Marin).

Then I finally translated the parts of the The S-Files that still lay around: The Dragon Trap, Strike One for Aquarius, and Milo's Best Kept Secret.

March 15, 1999

I added 178 Shots to the screen shot archive (mainly Taurus Aldebaran, Aries Mu and Aquila Marin this time) and another 2 MB of scans to the Saint Seiya Images.

March 12, 1999

Over the last week I added 3 MB of scans to the Saint Seiya Images, updated the Anime Cel and Shitajiki Gallery and worked a little at Rota Taro (completed the translation of the Rainbow Path and added Author's Notes with some info about Tarot and Astrology. Furthermore I updated the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions file with two submissions by Tevia Pertiwi and Lily Leung (sorry, that it took a little longer, but I have to write a paper for the university that's due this Monday).

March 5, 1999

Viviane "Boadicea" Reber helped me put together an overview over all of the Saint Seiya shitas which can be found at the Anime Cel and Shitajiki Gallery. Then I finally got the cute cel of Lacerta Misty which I ordered at Pocket a while ago (fresh scan will be uploaded ASAP). And last but not least I began the story Rota Taro which has spooked around in my head for quite a while now.

March 2, 1999

Finally my 'Favourite Goldies Pic' is coloured and uploaded to the FanArt section!! :) [And for those who still wonder - my 'Fave Goldies' are Camus (the perfect Nr.1), Shaka, Milo, DeathMask, and Aphrodite, in that order...]

February 24, 1999

To check how much work it is to update the new format of the Screen Shot Archives, I shot 169 pics of episodes 25 to 27, among them a couple of pictures of the Steel Saints (someone asked me for pics of them, but I don't remember who - sorry!) and several more of various Silver Saints.

February 22, 1999

Let's see, in the last days my Saint Seiya Archive went through some changes as I redid the whole directory structure of it. I hope everything works out again (I only tested it locally at home and not yet online)...

Furthermore I finally created the imagemaps (you might not believe it, but the overall amount of data transferred when loading them is about 30-40 percent *smaller* than with the former thumbnails! e.g. for the Camus screen shots the thumbs summed up to 174 files with 522 KByte, while the five new imagemaps now are 'only' 338 KByte altogether) and as I now could delete about 3000 thumbnail files, I was able to upload 289 new screen shots, which means that I have currently 3321 screen shots of Saint Seiya online.

Then I have now about 18 MB of more or less high resolution scans of shitas, magazines and cd covers at the Saint Seiya Images page.

BTW, if the WebJump sites have problems while loading, just hit <Shift>-Reload (Netscape) resp. <Ctrl>-Reload (MSIE) - normally then the pages should work properly.

February 15, 1999

As I checked my Bishounen Archive, I saw that I had overlooked another of the kawaii male specimen of Saint Seiya. Shame on me! I decided to remedy that and process all of the 142 raw shots of the Eta God Warrior Benetnasch Mime that were still lying around on my hard disk... (Some of them I had already used for the Mime 'Shrine' in the FanFics section, BTW.)

Then I got the three shitajiki that were still on the way - I'll scan them ASAP so that I can upload them Tuesday or Wednesday.

February 13, 1999

As I found a nice proggy that allows batch processing of picture files, I had to test that at some of the raw screen shots which lay around at home for quite some time now :)

Thus I could finally add about 50 more pics of my beautiful Aquarius Camus to the screen shots archive, 174 of Cancer DeathMask, 67 more of Pisces Aphrodite and some shots from the 3rd movie :))) But I have still find a way to create those imagemaps which doesn't need too much work on my part...

Well, and while I was at it, I decided to create a DeathMask screen saver, too. After all, he was the only of my favourite Goldies who hadn't been turned into a screen saver until now :)

February 8, 1999

As I have my own domain now (yeah, the Saint Seiya Archive can now be reached via http://www.saint-seiya.de!), I decided to create a couple of new banners that can be found at the subpage Webrings and my Banners.

February 3, 1999

My Anime Cel and Shitajiki Gallery - which is kindly hosted by Yann Stettler at Animanga - was updated with high resolution scans of the 5 new shitas that finally arrived at my place! Still I need *more* of them (especially of Camus, Shaka, and Hyoga, whatever there is... And while we're at it - if I could find some of Aphrodite and DeathMask - that would be very nice, too! :)

And speaking of Wanted! stuff - I still need at least one cel of my wonderful Aquarius Camus (and while were at it, some more cels of Shaka would be nice, too :)! Anyone who would be willing to supply me with those examples of utter kawaiiness - please mail me and make your offer :))) [Well, and I wouldn't say 'no' if I could get cels of Scorpio Milo, Lyra Orpheus, Lacerta Misty, the Crystal Saint, Benetnasch Mime, or Siren Sorento, either (to a reasonable price, that is)...]

February 2, 1999

Today I uploaded a new pencil drawing to the FanArt section: A pic that features all of my favourite Goldies together :)))

January 20, 1999

My Anime Cel Gallery got a new addition - now it's my Anime Cel and *Shitajiki* Gallery... :)

January 11, 1999

Well, as I was rather pleased with the last pencil drawing of my oh-so-kawaii Camus-sama, I decided to find some time to colour it - the result can be viewed at the FanArt section.

January 7, 1999

I typed up some more of The S-Files.

January 5, 1999

Okay, instead of learning Japanese I drew another pic of the most gorgeous of all the Saints which directly made it to the FanArt section: Aquarius Camus!!! But now I have to learn for tomorrow's Japanese vocabulary test...

January 3, 1999

Today sees another addition to the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions file (two new questions by Hecate), and my Anime Cel Gallery (another cute cel of Shun :))).

But the main attraction shall be the start of The S-Files, a story by Shavana and me which is supposed to become A Scientific Treatment on Structure and Workings of Athena's Saints.
