December 1, 2001

Sorry for the current delays in updating my page, but my hard disk decided to die on me (this here is hacked into the file at the Keyweb server, using vi as editor)...

I haven't lost any data (talk about a real good backup :))), but I can't work on my page before I have installed a new hard disk.

So what's still missing?

If there is something more missing in my "ToDo List", please send me the files again; then they have gotten lost somewhere deep in my folders...

Then Seiiruika sent two new pieces of poetry [in French], one about Isaac and the other about DeathMask. They can be found in the section FanFics and Poems by Seiiruika.

And then I got a very short but very gripping story by Skögul, The Phoenix Cloth, which described Ikki's feeling when he attained his Cloth.

Ah yes, Daedra Lord sent me a ton of answers to the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions list. Thanks a lot!

February 26, 2001

Today 'only' more fanart (due to some really serious trouble with the authorities -- some bureaucrats seem to love making people's lifes hell just for fun -- I still didn't find the time or peace of mind to edit the fanfics I got; fortunately fanart is just easier to edit and put up)... I really have the impression The Powers That Be throw rocks and other stuff into my way just to annoy me and hinder me to work on my website ^_^!

Anyway, you may admire now two wonderful new pics by Natsumi which went into her FanArt section right away: Milo vs Kanon which features a famous scene of the Hades Chapter, and Aiolia + DeathMask which is another illustration pertaining to the doujinshi Eclipse which was written by a friend of Natsumi's and drawn by Natsumi herself.

Then I got 12 new drawings by Arianwen. She may be one of the biggest Milo fans, but nonetheless she drew pictures of all of the Gold Saints in fashionable clothing. They are very nicely down and can be viewed in Arianwen's FanArt section.

February 20, 2001

So today I start with the fanart update (I have quite a lot of good fanfics in the queue, too, but they need a bit more work to be edited for uploading than pictures... Please be patient a little longer for them!).

First: Aurea sent me a beautiful drawing of Freya. It's in Aurea's FanArt section.

Natsumi also had severe computer problems but used the time wisely to draw more of her excellent fanart. Four new pictures can be found in Natsumi's FanArt section: Aries Shion, Virgo Shaka, a new scene of the Hades chapter and a hilarious illustration for a Japanese FanFic called Snow White Crab

Next, Nene Ycari sent me two more great pictures of his Vertina Saints. You can find them in Nene Ycari's Drawings section.

Natharell gave me three more chibi drawings: Camus, Milo and Aiolia. They are in Natharell's Fanart section.

Malinka sent me two more kawaii pics, one of Isaac and one of Ikki, that you can view of course in Malinka's Fanart section.

Then Andro designed Athina, one of the twins from ChibiMu's Fanfic Entre Terre et Mer - The Golden Twins. It's in Andro's Fanart section.

Last, but absolutely not least, I can present you an SD pic of Torquemada who is one of the regular chatters in the Saint Seiya Chat. Like all of the SDs, it was drawn by the queen of SD pics, Skögul. Thus it can be admired in Skögul's Cute SDs section.

February 7, 2001

Saori sent me the 12th chapter of Retour aux Sources [in French]. I can just say wow :) Sorry when I try to stay shorter in my comments today - I really need to take my computer apart again to try and fix it...

Anne-ChibiMu sent me three pieces of fanfics: A poem about DeathMask both in an English and a French version, and finally the long awaited 5th chapter of Entre Terre et Mer - The Golden Twins [in French]. Check them all out in the section FanFics and Poems by Anne-Laure.

Then I uploaded Milo's proof-read version of the French version of my story Le Prix des Armures XI: Glace Brulante, plus Pandora's translations of some parts of the Rota Taro fanfic. This can be found in the section with the French translations of my stuff. Lots of thanks to Pandora who tackled the tedious translation work and to Milo who proofed Glace Brulante!

Today I added another pic by Mime: two characters called Gerald Rubicante and Kai Orthus. His Cloth designs are absolutely great! Check it out in Mime's FanArt section!

Natharell sent me five chibi drawings of the Bronze Boys. They are in Natharell's Fanart section.

I got three very nice drawings of Hyoga, Shun and Shiryu by Cassie that went directly into Cassie's Fanart section.

Then Aera sent me a cute pic of Aphrodite and Misty that you can find in Aera's Fanart section.

February 5, 2001

Mime sent me another five pictures of Hades' Spectres: Troll+Worm, Deadly Beetly+Minotaur, Minos+Aiacos, Alraune+Rune and Cyclops+Charon, plus one pic of a character called Dyulahan. Coooool! Of course they can be admired in Mime's FanArt section!

Then SeiYaCHaN surprised me with a gracious gift: He drew Camus in two colourings for me. Merci millefois! Additionally, I was allowed to upload a wonderful pic of Hagen he created and gave to Torquemada as a gift. Its size of 800x600 makes it perfect as wallpaper for that screen resolution! Hurry to SeiYaCHaN's Fanart section right away!

Aera sent me a nice pic of a fluffy looking Aphrodite that you can find in Aera's Fanart section.

Next, Nene Ycari sent me another cool picture of his Vertina Saints plus one great gift drawing of Camus for me. You can find them in Nene Ycari's Drawings section.

Malinka drew a nice pic of Ikki that you can view of course in Malinka's Fanart section.

Cassie sent me a cute drawing of the five Bronze Boys that went directly into Cassie's Fanart section.

Finally, Alien sent me 22 (in words: twenty-two) drawings she did of Goldies, Bronze Boys and other characters. Of course this meant she got her own section right from the start - it's Alien's Fanart section.

Now the fanfics... Saori sent me two more of her gripping tales of the L'Appel des Étoiles series [in French]: Fleurs de Poison and Le Tranchant des Choix. Now you can read about the childhood of kawaii Pisces Aphrodite and Capricorn Shura.

Then Seiiruika sent me another piece of poetry, this time about the often neglected Crystal Saint. It's yet untitled and can be found in the section FanFics and Poems by Seiiruika.

January 29, 2001

This time Mime sent me two pictures of Lucifer's minions plus a pic of Deep Niobe and Sphinx Pharaoh. They are gorgeous as ever and can be found in Mime's FanArt section!

Then I got a nice pic of Hyoga by Malinka and a cute Aphrodite by Andromeda Shun, both to admire in the Fellow Artists section :)))

Saori wasn't lazy either and sent me the 11th chapter of Retour aux Sources. Again a nice chapter with many of the cool Goldies!

Next, I continued typing up a little of Chapter 7: Family Trip! Visiting the Hot Springs from The S-Files: Next Try. Not much, I'm afraid, but I decided to follow doctor's orders for once to take some time just for myself for a change - and that was spent watching part of my brandnew DVD box of The Slayers: Next (I thought I should finally watch the series of which I shamelessly stole part of the title for The S-Files: Next Try, *evil grin*). I can't wait to get The Slayers: Try

:)))

Ah yes, and finally I have to thank Luis Felipe who sent me high quality scans he did of Poseidon and the Steel Saints that made their way into the Saint Seiya Images section. (By the way, if you want to donate pics for my archive, please do not send me pics you saved from other websites. I won't accept those as I just want to have original stuff on my site - and that means it was either scanned by Shavana or me or it was specifically scanned to be donated to my site.)

January 26, 2001

Mime managed to create ten (!) more of his wonderful artworks - this time Abel's (Apollo's) Corona Saints, Dolbar and his God Warriors and some more Spectres. I'm running out of superlatives for him, so run to Mime's FanArt section and be amazed!

And now the fanfics...

Pandora sent me a fresh short story that takes place before the Sanctuary War. Aioros et Coronis [in French] is about Aioros and will be of some importance for her epic Apollon et Artemis: Les Archers Divins.

Torquemada sent me chapters 4 and 5 of her hilarious The Zeus Chapter: Be afraid, be very afraid! The real ruler of Underworld shows up and Highway from Hell! Hell sighs in relief. I almost lay under the table, helplessly laughing...

Then Seiiruika proves her talent not only as author of fanfics, but also as writer of poetry. She sent me three poems in French language plus their English translations. They can be found in the section FanFics and Poems by Seiiruika.

Still nothing more from me - actually I wanted to write something on Thursday, but I used the fact that I had some time then to run around through lots of stores to look for furniture for my new apartment into which I want to move in the end of March or beginning of April. Yatta! I found a cool futon-style bed and a nice wardrobe for my bedroom and a big shelf-combination for all my books, CDs, tapes and DVDs for the living-room etc. :))) And in the evening I just had to watch the brand new Slayers DVD Box I got. Go, Lina, go!!!

January 24, 2001

Today I'll "only" upload two more amazing pics by Randal Pizzardini. One gorgeous Hyoga in Northern outfit and a coloured version of his Hermes design. Do not miss them. Waiiii!

January 23, 2001

First: The missing two pages of Aurea's new doujinshi are online!! Check out Would you pose for me? - Interlude 1: Life without you in Aurea's Doujinshi section.

Next, Saori sent me a brand new tale of her L'Appel des Étoiles [in French]: Le Prix de l'Amitié. Once more you may witness the childhood of one of the Saints, this time Sagittarius Gold Saint Aioros.

Skögul sent me a picture of Scorpio Blood from Toffee's great Unbroken series. Admire it in Skögul's Drawings section!

Then Aera sent me a very nice pic of Camus in blue which you can find in Aera's Fanart section.

Nene Ycari sent me another two new pictures of his Vertina Saints. I really like his combination of computer graphics and real backgrounds! You can find them in Nene Ycari's Drawings section.

And last, but definitely not least, Mime sent me new versions of Charon, Aiacos and Minos which you may gape at in Mime's FanArt section!

January 22, 2001

Okay, this weekend I spent mainly in bed - I guess some virus managed to get me after all *sighs*. At least this gave me a little time to work on some restructuring of my site again, while I have to admit I just didn't feel like answering any emails. I just had to relax a little for a change...

So first of all, the next infamous internal reorganization of my Archive was due - I was running out of file names for the fanart section, and so I rearranged everything there. I hope all the internal links work again! If not, please tell me!

Then I finally set up an FAQ file where you find answer to the most frequently asked questions to me. I will not answer these questions via email anymore.

Furthermore, I began typing up Chapter 7: Family Trip! Visiting the Hot Springs from The S-Files: Next Try.

Skögul sent me three new pics. An adorable little Camus that went into Skögul's Drawings section and SD pics of Antares and Niara who belong to the regular chatters in the Saint Seiya Chat. These pics are in Skögul's Cute SDs section.

Then I got a new doujinshi by Aurea who got a section for her doujins now, too. It's truly hilarious! Check out Would you pose for me? - Interlude 1: Life without you in Aurea's Doujinshi section. Aehm, yes, I know there are still some pages missing, but it was just too good to pass it on...

Pandora returns with two chapters of her stories [in French]: Chapitre 2: Le Reveil of her epic Apollon et Artemis: Les Archers Divins and Chapitre 1: Le château du mal of her newest work Prélude à la fin du monde which takes place in Asgard and tells of a great threat looming over the world.

Toffee also returns with a short story: Blatant Disharmony which is also located in Asgard and gives you an insight into Mime's mind. It is her (belated) birthday present to Romain 'Milo' Baudry.

January 18, 2001

Millerna sent me the second chapter of her totally whacked out Star Wars / Saint Seiya crossover: Seiya Returns. You find it in the section Fanfics by Millerna! Once more the warning - Don't eat or drink while reading it - you might choke yourself

:)))

Then Aera sent me a portrait of Shaka which you can find in Aera's Fanart section. (She got a page of her own now, too :)

January 17, 2001

Millerna allowed me to link her hilarious Gemini Saga's Personality Disorder Chamber to my list of Shrines/Interviews. Thanks a lot!

Then I did one of the feared internal reorganizations of my archive again... As Pandora promised to translate my fanfics to French when she finds the time, I thought it would be a nice idea to add an index of her translations of them. You can find them at Stayka's FanFics en Français. Now you can read Le Hall de Concert de Mime de Benetnasch in the French Shrines section thanks to Pandora!!

And of course this meant I sorted the stories in two separate directories now... So if you find links that don't work anymore, please tell me! I guess I will divide the other FanFics page into the different languages, too, in the next time. ^_^

Pandora did not only send me the translation, she also worked on her stories. As she is a big fan of Athena and wants to show you that the Goddess is in fact an interesting person, she wrote the short story La plus belle des déesses [in French] which is set right after La Renaissance de Poséidon and before Apollon et Artemis: Les Archers Divins. You can read it in the section Fanfics by Pandora!

And finally in today's update, I got anew story by Torquemada. Our resident first defender of everything Asgard, wrote Red. The Firespawn, another serious tale which this time deals with Hagen's past and development up to his battle against Hyoga. This wonderful story describes his feelings and gives an intriguing background to his fire+ice powers - but not only that, you will also read of the God Warriors' convictions and what made them believe so strongly in Hilda... Gosh, I shouldn't talk so much - just read that story!

January 16, 2001

So today I 'only' present you new fanart... But what fanart it is! I got an amazing 17 (in words: seventeen!) new marvellous pics by Mime which you have to admire in Mime's FanArt plus one very nice pic by Malinka, featuring her favourite Ice Saints Crystal, Isaac, Hyoga and Camus (mine, too :) that you can find in Malinka's Fanart section.

January 15, 2001

I got a very crispy Kanon drawing by Natsumi. Go right away and admire it in Natsumi's Drawings section!

I wanted to upload BGC: Samurai Saint Soldier Sayyah by Karl Rim to my site for a long time. In fact, it was the first Saint Seiya fan fiction I ever encountered, and I still love it like on the day I discovered it. So why did it take so long? Well, only now I managed to contact the author! He gave me permission to upload the story, but to my great sorry he told me that is so busy nowadays that he doesn't find the time to continue his fanfic works. It is a real loss for the readers' community, if you ask me. As the story was plain text formerly, I had to HTML it completely which took about five hours (*yuck* -- But it was worth it!!). I hope you like the result! So rush to FanFics by Karl Rim to check it out! (And sorry to Seiiruika, due to that work I didn't find the time to proofread the second chapter of A Litte Flame under the Ice. I hope you forgive me!)

At least I can upload the first two chapters of Une petite flamme sous la glace [the French version of of A Litte Flame under the Ice] by Seiiruika. This story is totally adorable! Meet Camus how he got to Sanctuary and met Milo for the first time!! Highly recommended reading which you can find in Fanfics by Seiiruika.

January 12, 2001

Another big fanart update! Aera sent me a nice aquarelle pic of sleeping Saori which you can admire in Aera's Fanart section.

Then I got three pics by an amazing new artist from France: Randal Pizzardini. You definitely have to check them out!

I'm so embarassed - Nene Ycari told me he's a *guy*... I have to apologize that I took him for a lady until now. I'm really sorry! But as he sent me two new pictures of his Vertina Saints, he got a page of his own now, so check out Nene Ycari's Drawings!

Soheang sent me a collage he created from pics of the Saint Seiya figures. Cute! It's in Soheang's Fanart section.

Still no update of my stuff, sorry - I had the deadline of an article for a German computer magazine to observe and to prepare a presentation on "Myth of a homogeneous speech community: a sociolinguistic study of the speech of Japanese women in diverse gender roles" (which, by the way, is a highly intriguing study by Takano Shoji!). So much to do, so little time...

January 10, 2001

Again I got some great pieces of fanart -- three overwhelming new designs by Mime, two of Zeus and one of Hera which you should admire right now in Mime's FanArt section; plus two new pics by Irene, one of Aiolia and one of Shion, which are of course in FanArt by Irene S. Imakuma section.

Pandora starts through with her second story, Apollon et Artemis: Les Archers Divins that is set right after La Renaissance de Poséidon [in French]. It features the return of two of the coolest characters from the Hades chapter and is dedicated to Saori. You find it in the section Fanfics by Pandora!

And then I got two new short poems by Niara: Fall and Ikki - Fight Beyond Reality which you can read in the section Poems by Niara.

January 9, 2001

Some beautiful new fanart today:

First, SeiYaChaN allowed me to upload two of his new great drawings to SeiYaChaN's FanArt. One blonde Milo and a very nice rendering of Rhadamanthys and Kanon. If you want to see all he drew over the holidays you have to check out his homepage, though :) You find that link in the fanart page, too.

Then I got a cute pic of Aera with a Saga-doll which went into Aera's fanart section and a Rhadamanthys pic by Soheang that he dedicated to all Saint Seiya fans.

And last but not least, Warlady Kat send me a wonderful crispy pic of Camus hust clad in a piece of underwear. Very yummy and definitely to be admired in Warlady Kat's FanArt section!

But I also got some fan fiction: The chapters 9 and 10 of Retour aux Sources by Saori. Grin. Chapter 10 was quite a fun surprise for me :)))

And finally Seiiruika sent me some answers the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions list. Thanks a lot!

January 8, 2001

First: I rearranged the complete internal structure of the stories section for practical reasons. I hope everything works properly again, but if you still find some internal link that is broken, please tell me right away so that I can fix it!

Today Toffee sent me the second part of Under Evil Stars: Morgana As you may already know, it is also set in her Unbroken universe and deals with some characters invented by herself. You can read in the section Fanfics and Poems by Toffee (where else?)!

Then Pandora sent me the fourth and final chapter of La Renaissance de Poséidon [in French]. It lays the base for a new epic battle, so don't miss it in the section Fanfics by Pandora!

Next, Anne-Laure (ChibiMu) sent me the English version of her nice birthday present for me: the poem The Legacy of a Master about Camus. Nicely done!!

Finally, I completed Chapter 6: The Search for Cosmo! Willing, but no Teacher from The S-Files: Next Try.

Then I got some beautiful fanart by a new, very talented artist. Check it out in the Fanart by Soheang section!

January 5, 2001

Pandora sent me the third chapter of La Renaissance de Poséidon [in French]. It's as good as the chapters before, so read it in the section Fanfics by Pandora!

Then Nene Ycari sent me two more of his original pictures of the Saints of Vertina.

I typed up a little more of Chapter 6: The Search for Cosmo! Willing, but no Teacher from The S-Files: Next Try.

And finally don't miss Torquemada's new answers to questions 62, 65 and 67 of the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions. I almost chocked from laughter :)))

January 3, 2001

This time, Saori sent me full three new tales of her L'Appel des Étoiles [in French]: Virgo Shaka: De Sang et de Lumière, Aries Mu: Poussière d'Etoiles, and Siren Sorrento: Comme une mauvaise résonnance; each of them depicts the childhood of one of the aforementioned characters in her usual well-written style.

Then I got two more original pictures by Nene Ycari plus a nice Hyoga in Aquarius Cloth by Seiiruika. Thank you!

January 2, 2001

First update in the new millenium :)))

I added the beginning of Chapter 6: The Search for Cosmo! Willing, but no Teacher from The S-Files: Next Try.

Pandora made me an absolutely wonderful offer - she volunteered to translate my stories to French! She began with two of the stories of Price of the Cloth / Prix d'Armure. Merci millefois :))

Cassy sent me five new pics: Camus, Shun and three times Hyoga. They are in the section FanArt by Cassie. Then I got two more pics by Aera: Athena and Saga.

And finally I got a new question by Aurea for the (Not So) Frequently Asked Questions. Thanks!
